Working at a company implies that you support and accept their values. It will be expected of you to embrace this set of behaviours. It usually takes a lot thinking and working for a company to arrive at the core values of that particular company. These values are ideally part of the heart and the minds of each and every employee who forms part of the company.
An example of the values of a well-known company McDonalds can be seen below:
“McDonald’s brand mission is to be our customers’ favourite place and way to eat and drink.” (www.aboutmacdonalds.com)
- We place the customer experience at the core of all we do
- We are committed to our people
- We believe in the McDonald’s System
- We operate our business ethically
- We give back to our communities
- We grow our business profitably
- We strive continually to improve
