As a Health Products Sales Representative (HPSR) you will often be in a situation where you have to sell to Health Care Practitioners (HCPs) based on the results of clinical trials conducted on your products. Using these results will help you to be convincing in terms of the benefits of your products for HCPs patients.
The purpose of this module as part of the HPSR qualification is to help you understand the ways in which these clinical trials are written for publication in medical journals. The purpose is also that you will be able to respond effectively when an HCP requests information about a clinical trial.
This module starts by looking at the drug development and approval process, moves on to how to interpret results from clinical trials, and finally how to use the results from these clinical trials to improve your face to face time with an HCP.
